The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker this new, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
